The CTD Mission Statement

Mother Earth is in crisis. Our biosphere is being damaged at many levels and, as individuals, the fight to restore a healthy environment can seem overwhelming.  The Connect The Dots Team believes that our best hope is to learn to understand our impact on the natural world, and by extension on ourselves. We can do this by examining our day-to-day actions and, collectively, reestablish a healthy, sustainable world.

 

We also believe that the best place to start is with our children.

 

Through the use of visual arts, craft projects, outdoor observation, storytelling, creative writing, theater games, values lessons, opportunities for reflection, original music and more, the Connect The Dots Curriculum strives to inspire students, youth and learners of all ages to adopt sustainable practices in their own lives and to care enough to advocate for future generations of all beings.
